YAD is an association for youth drug prevention work. YAD is a Finnish non-profit civil association, which has over 30 years’ experience preventing drug abuse. This work consists of voluntary-based substance abuse prevention with young people (peer to peer). By developing informative drug education tools for conversations about drugs and increasing conversations about a more humanistic approach; our goal is to influence young people’s drug attitudes and reduce drug-related harm, as well as challenge stigmatization of people who use drugs. We work towards enriching young people’s lives and provide substance-free activities and an encouraging community for all young people, regardless of their substance abuse background.
